Hey there! I'm the human behind Science of Efficiency. It's great to have you here!
Born in Spain, my journey has taken me far from home – living and working in diverse places like the United States, Belgium, Vietnam, and Berlin.
For over a decade, I’ve combined my passion for psychology with my expertise in business communication and cross-cultural coaching, collaborating with startups and corporates worldwide. Currently, I am the Marketing Director at Talaera, a global platform empowering non-native English professionals to communicate effectively and bring their full selves to work. I also host the Talaera Talks podcast, where we dive into topics related to career development, culture, and communication.
With vast experience in remote work and with international teams, I strongly believe in the power of psychology-based tools and effective communication for individual and team success.
This blog is where I get to be curious out loud.

Why a lemon?
Every psychology site uses a brain emoji. I refuse. Plus, brains are overrated – they're the ones getting everything wrong in the first place.
A lemon felt right. Bright. Sharp. Tart. Good for you. Plus, I really like lemons.
My goal with this is to squeeze the good stuff out of research papers, observations, and anything else I find interesting, and make it tangible – for you, but also for myself. Thanks for reading. 🍋
